YORK- Linda Maureen (Hisle) Combs, 60, died on Wednesday December 16, 2009. She was the loving wife of Anthony Wayne Combs. The couple wed on May 10, 1975. A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Pl., Red Lion with the Reverend Steven C. Almquist officiating . A viewing will on Friday, December 18, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Combs was born on April 28, 1949 in Middletown, OH, a daughter of the late Clarence Eugene and Beulah May (Smith) Hisle. She worked as a service associate for AAA for almost 9 years. Mrs. Combs attended Living Word Community Church while residing in PA and Lakewood Church in Houston, Tx. Mrs. Combs enjoyed bingo at the Spry Fire Co., attending the Hollywood and Atlantic City Casinos, Stephen King novels, the Twilight Series, and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Her and Wayne enjoyed bowling and golfing together. Most of all, her life was centered around her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing everything with them, including watching Disney movies. Along with her husband, Mrs. Combs is survived by three sons, Shawn M. Eakins and wife, Amy J. of York, Eric A. Eakins and Heather of York, Todd W. Combs and Erin of Felton; one daughter, Angela Eakins and Lewis of Red Lion; nine grandchildren, David, Kayla, Elisabeth, Alexander, Jacob, Devin, Destiney, Addison, and Luke; four brothers, Terry and wife, Susan of Deep Gap, N.C., Mike and wife, Jean of Columbus, OH, Kenneth and wife, Gail of Atlanta, Ga., and Randy of Williamsburg, VA; one sister, Barbara Bair and husband, Michael of Gratis, OH; and many special friends. Preceding her in death was a brother, Ronald Eugene Hisle from Franklin, OH.
