Linda A. Stanhope

MOUNT WOLF – Linda A. (Linton) Stanhope, 67, passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at York Hospital.

Born April 27, 1956 in York, a daughter of the late Columbus A. and Dorothy B. (Brickner) Linton, she was a 1974 graduate of York Catholic High School and York Technical Institute where she earned an Associate’s degree in Accounting. Linda had worked at H&R Block, Pensupreme Dairy, and Borger Steel throughout her career. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Mrs. Stanhope is survived by a daughter, Jessica L. Kaufman of Seattle, WA; and a brother, Columbus H. “Lynn” Linton of Mount Wolf. She was preceded in death by a brother Terry Linton.

Tribute Services will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements.
