RED LION- Harry F. Miller, 72, died, Friday, December 26, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Carolyn M. (March) Miller. The couple celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on May 11th. A viewing will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a Masonic Service at 8:30 p.m. An additional viewing will also be held on Wednesday, December 31 from 9-10 a.m. at the church prior to a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. at Manchester Assembly of God, 4115 Board Rd. in Manchester. The Reverend Thomas A. Gilman and the Reverend Fletcher Brothers will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with full military honors by York County Veteran's Honor Guard. Mr. Miller was the former Owner and President of Flinchbaugh Company, Inc., and currently serving as President of the Board of Directors at the Margaret E. Moul Home. Mr. Miller was a member of Manchester Assembly of God. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and recently honored and awarded as a 33rd Degree Mason. He was a member of Red Lion Lodge #649 F& A.M., Tall Cedars of Lebanon York Forest #30 and Tall Cedars of Lebanon North America, where he was past Grand Tall Cedar in 1988, and member of York-Gethsemane Commandery #21 Knights Tem plar of York, where he was past Commander and Line Officer. He was a member of Knights Templar of PA, Sovereign Order of Knights Preceptor, York County Shrine Club and Shriners of North America, Red Cross of Constantine, York Royal Arch Chapter #199, York Council #21 Royal and Select Master Masons of PA, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Harrisburg Consistory, Red Lion Scottish Rite Club, The Philalethes Society, life member of Masonic Order of the Bath, member of Order of Corks, First Capital High Twelve Club, Faith Court #12 Wee Wee Club, Fellow Pilgrim of the Order of Diogenes, Grand Council Allied Masonic Degrees of the United States of America, Royal Order of Scotland, York Rite College #11, Shamokin, PA, First Capital York Rite College, Erin Council #6 Knight Masons, and PA College Masonic Societas Rosiccuciana In Civitatibus Foederatis. He was a member of: Sovereign Council #103 Allied Masonic Degree, Most Worshipful Grand Lodge, A. F. & A.M. of Virginia, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests Triune Tabernacle, Constans Council #239 Allied Masonic Degrees, White Rose Scottish Rite Club, and Square Club of York. He was a member of Indian Four Cylinder Club, Rosedale, IN and Springfield "Indian' Motorcycle Club of America, as well as White Rose Street Rod Association. He was Past President of York Motorcycle Club, Hudson, Essex, and Terraplane Club, Inc., PA Dutch Club Chapter H.E.T. Club, Antique Motorcycle Club of America, Old Cars Club, William S. Grove Old=2 0Timers Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, Antique Automobile Club of America, Boss Hoss Riders, National Street Rod Association, and Holiday Rambler Recreational Vehicle Club, Inc. He was a member of Hawk Gunning Club in York, Amputee Coalition of America, York County Stewards Club, American Defense Preparedness, and Korean War Veterans Association. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Sertoma Club of York and received the Service to Mankind Award District 4 and Regional. Along with his wife, Mr. Miller leaves a daughter, Tanya McMillen of Pawleys Island, SC; a granddaughter, Avery McMillen; a brother, William Miller of York; two sisters: Josephine Sullivan of York and Linda Henshaw of Red Lion, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ida Propst, Orpha Andrukite; and a brother, Perry Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Freedom Village USA, P.O.
