AVOCA-Frank D. Nossavage, 59, of Pittston Avenue, Avoca, died Friday, January 26, 2007, in Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston on October 31, 1947, he was a son of the late Frank and Betty (Coxe) Nossavage. A graduate of Pittston High School, he was employed by the American Red Cross, where he drove trucks and assisted in the set up for the bloodmobiles. He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Avoca, and a dedicated member of its choir. Frank was also a member of the former Knights of Columbus, Avoca, and an avid Seatle Seahawks fan. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, the former Christina Andruzis; daughter Sharon, at home; brothers David (Debbie) Nossavage, Pittston; Mark (Gail) Nossavage, Harding; sister Judith (John) Radan, Deltaville, VA; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Kniffen O'Malley Funeral Home, Inc., 728 Main Street, Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in SS. Peter and Paul Church, Main Street, Avoca, with the Reverend Mark Bochinski officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Moosic.
