MILTON - Florence I. Miller, 90, a resident of Kramm Health Care Center since April 2007 and formerly of 120 Center Street, died on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Kramm Health Care Center, Milton. Florence was born on September 13, 1917 in Milton and was a daughter of the late William and Emma (Campbell) Miller. She had worked for 30 years at the Hosiery Mill and then retired from the Milton Shoe Factory. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milton for over 50 years and was also a member of the Senior Philathea Class and was a teacher of that class. Florence is survived by one daughter; Linda A. Wright of Milton, one brother; Merrill D. Miller of New Columbia, two sisters and one son in law; Joan Smith and Nancy and Joe Nickey, all of York, PA, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother; Robert Miller, six sisters; Edna Morgan, Louise Kriner, Jean Pick, Rachel Harrison Mezerosky, Betty Miller and Mary Miller and one son in law; Steve Wright. There will be a public viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 602 Main St., Watsontown, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Edward A. Henry officiating the services. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 30 Center St., Milton, PA 17847 or to Kramms Health Care Residents Fund, 743 Mahoning St., Milton. PA 17847.
