YORK – Cramer D. Bacque, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Edna A. (Reed) Bacque who died on May 10, 2016. A Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 30, 2017 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York with The Rt. Rev’d Barry E. Yingling, CSSS officiating. Viewings will be held from 2-4:00 PM Sunday with Full Military Honors presented by York County Veterans Honor Guard at 4:00 PM, a viewing from 6-8:00 PM Sunday and 10-11:00 AM Monday, all at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Born November 24, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., a son of the late Cramer and Caroline (Case) Bacque, he retired from Bendix Corp. after 34 years of service. While with Bendix Corp., Mr. Bacque traveled the world visiting over 50 countries. He was a member of the Institute of Electronic Engineers where he had served as Chairman of the Baltimore Chapter. He was a US Navy Veteran. Mr. Bacque is survived by three daughters, Diana P. and husband Brendan Wolfe of Mechanicsville, MD, Cindy L. and husband Chris Grimes of Glen Burnie and Brenda K. and husband Craig Hewitt of Denton, MD; three grandchildren, David Grimes of Centerville, MD and Morgan and Brooke Hewitt of Denton; and a sister, Alberta Steadman of Washington, PA. He was preceded in death by a son, David Bacque; and siblings, Josephine Hunter, Erma Miller, Adolph Bacque, Joseph Bacque, and Rose Boggs.
