Charles Edward Heisler

RED LION – Charles Edward Heisler, 89, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022 at York Hospital. He was the loving husband of Ann Elizabeth (Butcher) Heisler, to whom he was married for 64 years. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Born April 9, 1933 in Dallastown, Charlie was a son of Dr. Llewellyn R. and Erline (Ahrens) Heisler. After his graduation from Dallastown high school, Charlie joined the Army and served his country. After returning home, Charlie worked as an electrical technician for MetED for 43 years. In his free time, Charlie (K3VDB) enjoyed his HAM Radios, participating with the Red Lion Model Railroaders, and most of all enjoying his rescue dog Bubba. Charlie leaves behind his wife, Ann E. (Butcher) Heisler; a daughter, Hope Williams (Jim); 2 sons, Michael Heisler (Shannon) and Daniel Heisler (Maria); four grandchildren, Felicia and brother Jacob Heisler, Adrienne Williams, and Molli Heisler; a brother, Robert Heisler.
