Boyd Russell Test

JACKSON TOWNSHIP- Boyd Russell "Russ" Test, 53, of York, died Friday, January 1, 2010 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Brenda J. (Daugherty) Test. The couple celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary on January 8, 2009, A Celebration of Life Service will be 8 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York, with a viewing from 6-8 p.m. The Reverend Dennis A. Hummel will be officiating at the service. Russ was born in York on June 23, 1956, a son of Jack E. and Joyce (Campbell) Test of York. He was currently an Electrician for Johnson Controls in York, where he has worked for 35 years. Russ was a 1974 Graduate of York Suburban High School and was a member of the 9th Ward Social Club. He was very involved with his children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time at the beach. He had a passion for music and enjoyed riding his Harley with his group of family and friends. He also enjoyed his shotgun shooting matches to win turkeys and hams. Along with his wife and parents, Russ leaves two sons, Brent Russell Test and his wife Kerry of Wrightsville, Bruce Robert Test of Dover; a daughter, Brandy Jennifer Test and her fianc裠James Glatfelter of West York; five grandchildren Katelynn, Gage, Adrian, Danika, and Melody; and two sisters; Linett "Lin" Harleman of York and Sharon "Sis" Whittington of Dillsburg. A brother, Gary Test had preceded him in death.
