Red Lion—Anna R. (Harrison) Shaw, 92, died Saturday, November 22, 2008 at her residence in Chanceford Township. She was the wife of the late Elwood S. Shaw. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, November 28, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with the Rev. Patricia C. Bollinger, of Shenberger's Chapel United Methodist Church officiating. A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m., Friday, at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Shenberger's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Shaw was born November 2, 1916 in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Walter and S. Iva (Miller) Harrison. She was a dedicated homemaker, who loved sewing and her flower garden. Mrs. Shaw is survived by six daughters, Mary Coeyman of Dallastown, Bertha Shaw and Sara Shaw both of Red Lion, Ruth Kurtz of Windsor, Janet Shaw of Red Lion, Susan Sterner of York, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 7 step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, two sisters, Estella Smeltzer of Felton and Florence Altland of Red Lion. She was preceded in death by one son, Samuel Shaw, two daughters, Margaret Shaw and Gloria Kilby, 5 brothers, two sisters, 1 granddaughter, and, 1 great granddaughter. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNA/Hospice Services, 218 E. Market St., York, Pa 17403 or Shenberger's Chapel United Methodist Church, 10085 Chapel Church Rd, Red Lion, Pa 17356 or a charity of your choice.
